What Are Committees?
A committee is the group where delegates come together to discuss and solve a specific global issue
Each committee represents a real UN body and follows its rules. Delegates act as countries, present their policies, debate, negotiate, and work together to write resolutions. The committee is basically the main place where all diplomacy, speeches, and decision making take place during the conference.

UNHRC
As the primary platform for dialogue on human rights violations and addressing issues of inequity, the United Nations Human Rights Council will discuss problems and human rights violations caused by racism that have been systematically affecting many populations and governments. Systemic and structural racism are forms of racism that are pervasively and deeply embedded in systems, laws, written or unwritten policies, and entrenched practices and beliefs that produce, condone, and perpetuate widespread unfair treatment and oppression of people of colour, with adverse health consequences.

UNEP
The United Nations Environment Programme is responsible for coordinating responses to environmental issues within the United Nations System. In our fast paced world, where trends come and go in the blink of an eye, the demand for cheap clothing has reached unprecedented levels. Enter the era of "fast fashion". While it may seem like a convenient and affordable way to stay on top of the latest trends, the reality is far from glamorous. Fast fashion comes with significant negative consequences for workers and the environment. The UNEP comittee will discuss the environmental harms of fast fashion.

JCC
The Joint Crisis Committee will discuss variations of issues that sparked after the end of the Second World War. Diving deep into the Cold War and its affects on especially third-world countries. Delegates will lead the simulation of the war on specific regions and re-write historic events.

COT
The Council of Trent will discuss various events that occurred in the 16th century, including bloody cultural, political, and sociological events. The multi-cultural, multi-religious structure of Europe has witnessed many conflicts, including the Renaissance and the Reformation. Delegates are expected to dive into the history of colonialism and much more.

SPECPOL
SPECPOL: The United Nations General Assembly Fourth Committee (also known as the Special Political and Decolonisation Committee or SPECPOL or C4) is one of six main committees of the United Nations General Assembly. The Kashmir conflict is a territorial conflict over the Kashmir region, primarily between India and Pakistan, and also between China and India in the northeastern portion of the region. The conflict started after the partition of India in 1947, as both India and Pakistan claimed the entirety of the former princely state of Jammu and Kashmir. The SPECPOL committee will discuss ongoing human rights violations and territorial conflicts happening in the Kashmir Region.
